Introduction
Sunset Bamboo™ bamboo slats are functional, durable and affordable.Made from carefully hand selected moso bamboo. Available in three colors, bamboo slats are used for wall covering, bars, ceilings, wainscotings or used to stylize any living space. The best part of these slats is that they are easy to install. Application is easy and effortless; each strip can be nailed, screwed, glued or bolted. Each piece can be joined side by side for a tight and finished look. Our bamboo slats are 6’ tall, 1.75” wide and .25” thick and are perfectly straight.

Installing Wall Mounted Bamboo Slats

The following instructions are for applying bamboo slats to your ceiling.

First and foremost, you must make accurate measurements. Once you are certain about the measurements for your
wall. You need to calculate to see how many slats will cover the area. As you lay a single slat down, the next one will
start where the last one finished.

You can also have the slats perpendicular to the lines of the wall to give you the same look but it will require more
customs cuts to fill the entire space.

Once you know how many slats are required, think about how you want to adhere them to your wall. Liquid nail or com-
mercial grade adhesive and finishing nails are one of your best options. You run a small bead of adhesive on the back-
side of the slat and place it against the wall. Once in place, pre-drill the slats, and drive a finishing nail in the center of
slat and one nail on each of the trailing ends(bottom and top) of the slat (nail every two feet). Continue the process for
each slat. It’s easier if you’ve pre-cut the slats to fit the wall space.

Tip: A simple oil based stain can transform our natural slats to any desired color to enhance and match any d�cor with this natural and eco
friendly material. Also, adding split bamboo poles will give the slats a more finishedd look.
